Christian Coaching, Purpose and Goal

Our focus is to help people discern God’s purpose for their lives, craft their vision, and chart their course moving forward. This is a challenge because we face extraordinary obstacles in our lives concerning leadership, career, and leading a Christian life. Having less discretionary time is now the norm, while increased levels of stress seem unavoidable. This is especially true in the workplace where multiple studies point to a growing demotivated workforce where job satisfaction and work-life balance seem unattainable.

Our goal is to help everyone:

  • Discover their life’s purpose

  • Explore future options

  • Establish boundaries

  • Identify actions for change

  • Connect with God’s perfect plan

As a Christian Coach, I am committed to this needed service and ministry, as well as dedicated to the Purpose Driven Life principle:

“If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by His purpose and for His purpose”  (Warren, 2012, p. 11).

Why Christian Coaching is Important

“It’s in Christ that we find out whom we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ, He had His eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.”

Ephesians 1:11

The pace of life is causing us to question leadership, life, and career. We find ourselves in seasons where we are searching for a more fulfilling life. Workplace demands to do more with less are causing us to rethink our careers and work-life balance.

"67% of employees are disengaged at work; they are miserable in the workplace and destroy what the most engaged employees build. These figures indicate an American leadership philosophy that just doesn't work anymore"

Gallup, 2012, p. 2).

Employee disengagement results in workplace negativity, reduced productivity, increased stress, and health-related problems. We are constantly asked to do more,  better, faster, with less time and resources:

  • "Stress is so prevalent, and out of control, the United Nations calls stress the 21st-century health epidemic"  (Robinson, 2013, p. 5).

  • "80% of leaders state coaching would help manage stress" (Baltes, Campbell, Martin, & Medding, 2007, p. 3).

  • Kaiser Permanente Reports…

    • 80% of employees are stressed at work.

    • 42% of employees have left a job due to stress.

    • Workplace stress estimated at $ 300 billion annually (Stress Management, 2018, p. 1)

The fast-paced nature of our lives and careers dictates that disruption is here to stay. Whether we are struggling as a leader or dealing with an ineffective leader at work, coping with life's challenges, or a season of restlessness, Christian Coaching will help you find your purpose and bring God into the process.

Why is Christian Coaching important? “There can hardly be a more needed service in our culture today or a more critical ministry for the church” (Collins, 2002, p. 45).
